When did Sol’s Halo-Halo and Dessert start?

The Business was first established in the residence of the owner at Omandac Apt. Tisa, Cebu City on the June of the year 2016 .
Sol’s Halo-Halo and Desserts’ main location is in Barangay Tisa, Cebu City. It is just along the street notable for “Siomai sa Tisa”. There are five or more different halo-halo branches in Tisa which is also a reason for the high demand of halo-halo in the place.

What’s with the name of the business, Sol’s? Why Sol’s?

The name itself originates from Ms. Cathy’s mom- Soledad Jumao-as, Soledad-Sol’s, whom she described as a person with a great passion for cooking and making desserts. Ms. Cathy, inspired by her mother and driven with the love in making desserts, created the Sol’s Halo-Halo which soon clicked to the Cebuano’s palettes

FRANCHISING

For the business is open to franchising and the number of customers of Sol’s Halo-Halo increased, many people are interested in franchising the business and thus it has now 47 existing branches.

The requirement for a franchise in the business is the cash payment of P350,000. In return the business will provide a freezer for the raw ingredients of the desserts and they will also give 100 gallons of free ice cream.
